Finger sticking was painful…

Finger sticking* was painful, messy and required a private sterile environment. Why I love using my Dexcom G7: Applying the Dexcom G7 is easier than tying a shoe and applying the overpatch is as simple as using a Band-Aid. It takes less time for me to apply than making a piece of toast! With the helpful instructions provided in each G7 box along with the overpatch, I’m able to wear my sensor for the full 10 days with no problems. My Dexcom G7 gives me important data before meals, between meals and after meals. It lets me know how exercise affects my glucose and if I need medication before I go to bed. This life changing device has made me healthier and happier! *If your glucose alerts and readings from Dexcom G7 do not match symptoms or expectations, use a blood glucose meter to make diabetes treatment decisions.
**As a reminder, read product instructions before you use your Dexcom G7 CGM System. Where to insert — arm or buttocks: Don’t wear it on other sites as it may not work as expected. If you wore G6 sensors on your abdomen, wear G7 sensors on the back of your upper arm. Children from 2 to 6 years old can also choose their upper buttocks. Follow the insertion instructions carefully. Extra care may help you keep your sensor on for the entire sensor session. The potential magnitude of reduced sensor life throughout the 10 days is provided in the G7 User Guide (refer to Section E, titled Technical Information, Sensor life).
